John Brooks, principal, has been working in the craft for over 20 years as a professional furniture restorer, cabinetmaker, and buyer and seller of antiques. John apprenticed at several first-rate cabinet-making and restoration shops in New England. He has studied sculpture, design, and art history at Lesley University College of Art and Design (formerly the Art Institute of Boston (AIB), Carnegie Mellon University, and Vermont Carving Studio. He holds a BFA in sculpture from AIB. His shop employs a small group of craftspeople carefully chosen for their rare skill and ability.
